Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over three years. She managed to make it on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to the other Royal Academy students. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. However she left before the band went on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work on Diva in 1992, her debut album as a solo artist. The album garnered a lot of praise by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself came out in the month of October, 2014. This C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite soul, jazz and blues songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her album Now I Let the door open... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some success in the late 1970s. Then, she became a part of the band with the band with fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career by releasing her first album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album that was released in 1995 features songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album include a number of tracks.
