But for a young Irish girl surrounded with gifted parents and extended family, these traits came as a natural. Maureen arrived in this nurturing sanctuary on August 17th, 1920. She was raised by her parents as well as family members. Marguerita L. FitzSimons had a successful contralto. Charles FitzSimons ran a Dublin firm, as well as held shares of the Irish soccer team Shamrock Rovers. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd child from Charles FitzSimons.
